Bizen Osafune Japanese Sword Museum　備前長船刀剣博物館

Located in Okayama prefecture, this sword workshop has been open to the public, and is now a museum that specializes in swords — a rarity even in Japan. It is the only place where you can see first rate craftsman make each of the special parts that comprise a sword. There are many famous swords in the collection, including Bizen Osafune, a sword steeped in history. This attraction is also very popular with international visitors.
